New Patients at Labelle Chiropractic Clinic
Your First Visit
Plan on about 45 minutes to one hour for your initial appointment with us. We’ll welcome you to our office and collect your intake forms. We run on-time, so we won’t keep you waiting, and you’ll meet with your chiropractor to discuss your health history and current issues.
We will conduct an in-depth examination to determine the underlying cause of your pain or dysfunction and to assess whether or not chiropractic care is the right choice for your condition. We are looking to see how well your nervous system is functioning and delivering messages between your brain and body. Our assessments will include spinal function, range of motion, posture, muscle testing, nerve testing, bilateral weight scales and balance.
Your Second Visit
We will schedule your second visit as soon as possible after the first—in some cases, later the same day if the X-rays are done that day. At this visit, we’ll give you some general information on chiropractic care and a thorough explanation of our findings from your testing and X-rays. We’ll show you your X-rays so you can objectively see what’s going on with your spine. Then we’ll explain the source of your symptoms and options for care, whether you’re looking for pain relief or seeking correction of the underlying problem.
You’ll receive your first adjustment at this visit. Your second visit is usually 30 minutes.
