Meet Dr. Amy Thiesburger
Finding Relief—and a Career
Dr. Thiesburger grew up about an hour from and, like Dr. Labelle, suffered with headaches—migraines, which she had on a weekly basis through her teens. She tried a number of medications, but nothing addressed the cause of her headaches, so they continued.
At university, a friend had a father who was a chiropractor. Dr. Thiesburger went to him, and he discovered the underlying cause of her migraines and corrected it with chiropractic adjustments.
Dr. Thiesburger had been planning to go into the healthcare field, but hadn’t decided which direction to take. When she experienced the life-changing effects of chiropractic, her mind was made up. Her chiropractor and all five of his children attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas—so Dr. Thiesburger went there too. She graduated from Parker in 2000 and joined Labelle Chiropractic Clinic in 2001.
Offering Honest Care
Dr. Thiesburger helps educate patients that addressing the root cause of a problem is the only way to keep symptoms from coming back and to achieve actual health. Mainstream medicine primarily concerns itself with medications that treat symptoms, without addressing the underlying problem.
Chiropractic care aims to locate the underlying problem and correct it so that the nervous system—which controls every cell, organ and tissue of the body—can function as it should. When the nervous system works properly, your body’s innate healing ability can take over and true health can be achieved.
Away from the Office
When she’s not at work, Dr. Thiesburger stays active with her husband, Dr. Labelle, and their son. She enjoys cooking, yoga and reading, and she also recently took up tennis and loves it!
